Our Story
C&SON Jersey Builders LLC was started by Rafael Marino Castillo Espinal on a simple idea: build the frame like someone's going to inspect it, because someone will. Our shop sits on North Beverwyck Road in Lake Hiawatha, and most of our work still comes from neighbors telling neighbors.
Today we serve a 20-mile radius across Morris, Essex, Passaic, and Bergen County — Boonton, Montville, Denville, Morristown, Wayne, Livingston, Montclair, and every town in between. New deck construction, composite board installation, structural repairs, full restoration, sanding, staining, railings, and power washing.
We're a registered New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (NJ HIC Reg. #13VH13356000), fully insured, and bilingual in English and Spanish. Rafael is on the job site, not just on the estimate. We're here Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and we'd rather tell you your deck doesn't need replacing than sell you a job you don't need.

Footings, ledger, posts, joists. We get the part you can't see right before we touch the part you can.

If your deck can be restored, we'll say so. If it can't, we'll say that too — before you spend a dollar.

Clean board gaps, wrapped fascia, hidden fasteners, solid railings. The details are the job.
